Kitab Al-Kasb Series (Part 30): Permissible Earning is in the Category of Cooperation on Devotion and Obedience

Each of the farmer and weaver, in what they render of work, is assisting the other in something of devotion and obedience, for rendering devotion is attained by this (cooperation arising out of each one's respective work), and it is included in the (meaning of the) statement of Allah, "And help each other to kindness and conscience" [Al-Quran, Surah al-Ma'idah, verse 2]. And the Prophet says, "Verily Allah is at the assistance of the servant as long as the servant is at the assistance of his Mulsim brother" [Narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah].....

Kitab Al-Kasb Series (Part 28): Matters by Which the Bodies of the Children of Adam are Supported.

Allah Most High has created the children of Prophet Adam as creatures whose bodies do not endure except by four things, namely food, drink, clothing, and shelter, which is dwelling. As for food, Allah Most High says, "We did not give them bodies that ate no food, and they were not immortals" [Al-Quran, Surah Al-Anbiya', verse 8]......

Kitab Al-Kasb Series (Part 27): Negating the Obligation of Narrating Everything a Jurisprudent Heard, and the Explication of This Position.

He (Imam Muhammad Ibn Al-Hasan Al-Shaybani) says, "It is not mandatory on the jurisprudence to narrate everything that he has heard except to the absent person who is about to depart, (especially regard to) that which the jurisprudent knows to be not well-known among the people of that person's country.".....

Then, the obligatory is two kinds, individual obligation, and communal obligation. The personal obligation is that which is specifically incumbent on every individual to fulfill, such as the pillars of the religion. The communal obligation is that which is absolved from the rest of a community when some discharge it since the objective is achieved, but if people collectively abandon it, then they participate (together) in sinning; like jihad, for its objective is making supreme the word of Allah and the empowering of the religion....
